Slipping Rib Syndrome Organization® LLC
Slipping Rib Syndrome is a frequently overlooked yet profoundly debilitating condition.
Even though Slipping Rib Syndrome was identified in 1919, it has remained relatively obscure in the medical field, leading to notable delays in diagnosis for many patients. Recent studies have uncovered that delayed diagnosis and treatment have a significant impact on the physical and mental well-being of individuals with this syndrome. Alarmingly, one-third of adult patients with this condition have reported experiencing suicidal thoughts due to persistent chronic pain, along with an increased likelihood of being diagnosed with psychiatric conditions.
It's estimated that Slipping Rib Syndrome contributes to about 5% of all musculoskeletal pain cases seen in primary care, suggesting that it may be more prevalent than previously believed.
This platform is specifically designed to create awareness and provide support for individuals affected by slipped rib syndrome, a condition categorized under chest wall injuries. Our primary aim is to foster unity and collaboration within the community to drive meaningful change. By increasing awareness and knowledge about this condition, we hope to enhance the diagnosis and treatment options available to those impacted. Together, we strive to substantially and positively impact the lives of individuals dealing with Slipping Rib Syndrome.
Slipping Rib Syndrome Organization® and the website “Slipping Rib Syndrome INFO - SRSINFO.Org “ was created through the volunteer collaboration of our connections, research experts, and individuals affected by Slipping/Slipped Rib Syndrome.
We believe that by utilizing our skills, resources, and connections for the website and the Slipping Rib Syndrome Organization®, we can expand diagnosis and treatment within the community.
We diligently review all the studies, publications, and directories of SRS medical providers on slipping rib syndrome on a regular basis. Our dedicated volunteers have put in a lot of effort to ensure that the information and details of all the studies come from trustworthy sources and listed SRS medical providers are accurate and up-to-date.
Our website, SRSINFO.ORG, is a source of great pride for us. We are delighted to have had countless visitors since its launch in April 2023.
Additionally, we are currently brainstorming ideas to establish a non-profit organization.
